The Solicitors Qualifying Examination 1 (SQE1) is administered by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). It replaced the LPC as the primary route to qualification.

All questions are single best answer (SBA) — select the best answer from five options. There is no negative marking.

Pass Mark

The SRA uses standard setting. Historically, candidates need approximately 57-62% to pass.
